Stop…it’s Pumpkin Time!

So it’s already the first week of September (uh hello, where did the year go?) and I’m debating whether or not to be happy that the summer is coming to a close.  I mean, I’m going to miss the warm sun and enjoying my parent’s pool, but I’m just not sure if I’m ready to turn in my flip flops for a pair of boots quite yet.Nonetheless, I am super stoked that I can already begin enjoying one of my favorite things about this time of year.  Pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING! Honestly, I cannot get enough of the gourd! From pie, to cake, to bread, to lattes… I HEART pumpkin!

And on top of the fact that it’s super tasty, it is super easy to decorate with.  I mean check out this picture.  It doesn’t get much easier than stacking a bunch of pumpkins, and yet it can help set the mood for the time of the year that is quickly approaching. But back to food…I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite pumpkin recipes and a few new ones I look forward to testing out.  Does anyone want to come help taste test?
